RH 133 - RedHat Training of Master Trainers Print E-mail
In connection with the deployment of FOSS in Government, an agreement has been signed between KSITM and RedHat for imparting a free training to a total of 100 faculty members on RH133 Course for System Administrators, RedHat will conduct this five-day full time intensive training programme comprising of RedHat Enterprise Linux, hands-on-labs and exercises, which would prepare the participant for RedHat Linux Networking and Security Administration. Faculty support as well as the course material for the training will be provided by RedHat. The batch size is limited to 12 participants.

Employees nominated from various organizations and departments with three or more years of work experience are eligible for this course. The details of the nominated personnel would be cross-checked with the prerequisities specified by RedHat (RH 033 RedHat Linux Essentials or equivalent experience).

Those nominated and selected as Master trainers shall be required to undergo the training in Open Software for the stipulated period without any break. They in turn are required to impart training to selected subordinates in their organization/department. Master trainers shall also be required to execute a bond agreeing to abide by the above conditions before the commencement of training. The course certificate shall be issued only on successful completion of the training.

Training for the nine batches have been conducted successfully with 12 participants each at Trivandrum, Ernakulam and Calicut.
