Status of recently hosted websites

The State Data Centre (SDC) was set up by the Government of Kerala in Thiruvananthapuram to booster the eGovernance activities of the State. The 5000 square feet facility is located at Co-Bank Towers, and operational since the year 2005. Kerala became the first State in the country to have a state-of-the art Data Centre exclusively for eGovernance activities. SDC currently hosts more than a hundred Government WebSites & Web Application Softwares.

100 Mbps Internet link to the National Internet Backbone facilitates instantaneous connectivity to the State Data Centre from the Internet. 1Gbps Intranet link to the Kerala State Wide Area Network (KSWAN) facilitates direct connectivity to the State Government Offices linked to it.

SDC is part of the State Information Infrastructure (SII), and is currently operated on funds made available by the Department of IT, Govt. of Kerala.

SDC Services are offered free-of-cost for Government Departments and allied organisations. Hosting of Official Government Web Sites, after migration from foreign Web-Servers as per directions issued in Circular of the Dept.of IT, GoK, are facilitated at the SDC under the Content Management Framework (CMF) platform.

HOW to REQUEST for DATA CENTRE SERVICEs ?
